OMG! TURKEYS! ::

What you will need:

1. A Package of Oreos

2. Chocolate Frosting

3. Malted Milk Balls

4. Small Reeses Cups

5. Candy Corn

  • Take out two oreos, laying one oreo on the table (This is the base)
  • Take the second oreo and put chocolate frosting on part of the edge, so you can stick it to the other oreo (This is the back)
  • Take out one Reeses cup and slice off a sliver on one side so that it is flat
  • Cover bottom and sliced side with frosting and attach to the oreos (This is the body)
  • Take out a Malted Milk Ball and use frosting to connect it to the Reeses cup (This is the head)
  • Take out 4 or 5 pieces of candy corn, and stick in the oreo acting as the back (These are the feathers)
  • Cut the white tip off of a Candy Corn piece and use frosting to attach it to the head (This is the beak).

*I apologize if these directions are hard to follow. This project is more of a hands on activity.
**I couldn't find Candy Corn so I used Mike & Ikes, making it a little more colorful
***Make sure to store your turkeys in a container with a lid, the oreos will go stale! Enjoy!

Newspaper Print Nails!

Newspaper Print Nails ::

You will need:

  1.  Light colored nail polish
  2. Clear nail polish
  3. Nespaper
  4. Rubbing Alcohol
  5. Q-tips

  • Make sure your nails are free of all old nail polish
  • Paint your nail a light color, I used a shiny grey
  • Let dry (about 5 minutes AT LEAST)
  • Fill a small cup (I used a shot glass) with rubbing alcohol, and soak one nail for about 5 seconds
  • Rub nail with Q-tip, so the rubbing alcohol isn't dripping off your nail
  • Take a piece of newspaper and press ((lightly)) on your nail for about 5 seconds
  • Use a Q-tip with rubbing alcohol on it to wipe extra newspaper print from around your fingernails
  • Paint over nail with clear nail polish to prevent smudging and give your nails a shiny gloss
  • Repeat :)
*Just a note, it might take a little practice to get perfect. My left hand looks wayyyy better than my right!
**Also, don't use [too much] rubbing alcohol, the newspaper print will come off light and smudgy
***Beware! If you have hangnails (like I did) the rubbing alcohol will burn!
